Use of PaperOffice

The software that grows with you: PaperOffice adapts to its environment and can be used locally as well as in a network with a NAS, with its own server, and as a private cloud.

Highlights

Single user

PaperOffice has an internal MySQL 5.6 database server, which is started up when used as a local standalone installation to optimize resource usage.

Network

PaperOffice can use any shared database server in your local network, where all users log in. The processing is always done locally by SwarmTech intelligently.

Private Cloud

PaperOffice can connect to database servers that are connected via the Internet. This can be a NAS, own server or a server located in an external data center.

Start with a single workstation, expand in the network, set up your own server or use a PaperOffice dedicated server for the perfect home office and branch networking.

Single user

PaperOffice is locally installed and automatically uses the integrated database server in PaperOffice.

PaperOffice is installed on every PC and uses the integrated database server in the NAS.

Network with NAS and external access for, for example, home office, site networking, or on the go.

PaperOffice is installed on each PC and uses the database server installed on the server. The connection to the database server is externally released for the desired IP addresses.

PaperOffice with a dedicated PaperOffice Server in the Strato AG Data Center in Berlin, Germany.

PaperOffice is installed on every PC. All PaperOffice users access the central database server in real-time, which is located externally in the Strato data center. The connection to the database server is externally released for the desired IP addresses.

Data backups are done directly on the server, as a storage image in the data center up to 20TB, and optionally externally on your own NAS or server. Required: Modern PCs with Windows 10/11, internet connection with min. 1Mbit upload per concurrent user, and 1x PaperOffice TEAM per user account as in the example = 2x PaperOffice TEAM.
