Use of PaperOffice

The software that grows with you: PaperOffice adapts to its environment and can be used locally as well as in the network with a NAS, with its own server, and as a private cloud.

Highlights

Single workstation

PaperOffice has an internal MySQL 5.6 database server, which is started up when used as a local standalone installation to optimize resource usage.

Network

PaperOffice can use any shared database server in your local network, where all users log in. The processing is always done locally by SwarmTech intelligently.

Private Cloud

PaperOffice can connect to database servers that are connected via the Internet. This can be a NAS, own server or a server located in an external data center.

PaperOffice is locally installed and automatically uses the integrated database server in PaperOffice.

PaperOffice with a dedicated PaperOffice Server in the PaperOffice Datacenter in Germany.

PaperOffice is installed on every PC. All PaperOffice users access the central database server in real-time, which is located externally in the PaperOffice Datacenter. The connection to the database server is externally released for the desired IP addresses.

Data backups are performed directly on the server as daily backups in the data center, and optionally externally, for example on your own NAS or server Required: Modern PCs with Windows 10/11, internet connection with min. 1Mbit upload per concurrent user, and 1x PaperOffice TEAM per user account as in the example = 2x PaperOffice TEAM.
